Why are the Hole wizard sizes not standard

Using the hole wizard, while selecting ISO or DIN standards, does not end up with sizes according to the standards. Is there an easy solution for this, or could Solidworks start using the standard measures? It would be very practical to not enter the right measures manually every time.

Examples:

  • Drill depth for M3 should be 2.8mm more than thread depth, but Solidworks thinks it is 1.5mm.
  • Large diameter of countersink for DIN 7991 should be 6.6mm, but Solidworks thinks it is 6.940

These are just examples. It seems that most is incorrect in the default values.

What am I missing here? Did I have a wrong setting somewhere? Are my books and most of the internet incorrect on the standard values and does Solidworks has the only good source?
