Can anyone help me with this problem.I have a solid part that i need to bend over skeched profile.
i would try the "Deform" feature with the option "Curve to Curve". Should work…
Deform is no good
How about Flex?
Flex seems to work but still its not up to my sketch but i its working.
Could you upload your file?
Deform is no good
But not bad either...
It depends on what you want to achieve… and for what reason.
Oh... u manage it...
Can u send me file pls?
You'll not be able to open the file because I've used SWX2020.
But i think the screenshot will help:
If you want to produce this part as a sheet metal part, I'd like to 2nd Jean Giacomoni
Here is the sw part
Create a surface and use the wrap command.

I see what you mean with deform and flex, however wouldn't be easier to make a flange on the shape of the curve, unbend it, cut the profile that you have right now and bend it back ?
If you really need it to not be a sheet metal, then omur's options is good choice.
I am not some expert at SW but if i get u right that is what i actually need
And now becouse i doing cutting this shape by hand i need to unbend it and print it on paprer so i can cut it by hand
Now just need to transform into sheet metal and flatten
You can use the initial part that you had, you've made the bent part from that...
The flattened state was given in advance...
In this case yes ( i made this part for a test ) but i got part from other company who made orginal shape cutting this big peace by tons of different profiles to get this final form.
In this case i believe this question needs some more explanation. What's truly your task ? How are you going to receive the files that you have to work on ?
Maybe this way we can be a better help.
