Good Afternoon Sir,

Am trying to assemble a bracket arrangement used in expansion bellows. Our bellows is a tied lateral universal expansion joint. When i try to assemble and analyse the bracket arrangement (picture attached for better understanding), actually the spherical washer ends need to work as a spherical contact, but when i analyse the same the spherical washer end becomes fixed and the rod begin to bend.

Kindly, advise what kind of mate and contact sets need to be given for spherical washer.

Let me explain how the assemble is made;

1. First i brought the bracket and assembled the spherical washer female part with the bracket.

2. Then spherical washer male assembled with the female part using tangent mate, simultaneously all the spherical washers were assembled.

3. Then the rod is is assembled with the spherical washer male part using the concentric mate.

While analyzing i gave the No penetration contact between the spherical washer male & female. Bonded contact between rod & spherical washer male. Bonded between spherical washer female & bracket.

Then when i analyse the spherical washer set becomes fixed and the rod begin to bend (picture attached for better understanding).

Kindly advise what needs to be done to solve the same.

Regards
