    Shared Toolbox in Replicated Environment

      Hi,
I just try to configure Shared Toolbox in PDMWE Replicated Environment (3 sites).

      Toolbox files has unique workflow

Users has only following rights for the Toolbox folder
      1.Add & rename rights
      2Add and rename folder rights
      3.read file content rights
      4.show working version rights

      Note:
I don't give checkout rights buz no need to modify the toolbox component from vault.

      1.Inserting a Toolbox component e.g X in an assembly.
2.Updating toolbox function (to add into vault)
      3.Check in the assembly

      working fine no issue.

      The problem is
      1. Inserting same X component in a different assembly
2.Updating toolbox function (to add into vault)

In solidworks file reference it's not updating it to vault location still it show the original shared toolbox location.

also another message says "You don't have permission to perform this action"

      I don't have any clue...

          Hi,

I found the solution for the issues

1.Not updating Toolbox component to vault

Ans: In solidworks, the current machine registry for toolbox location should be similar to the current user registry value.

2."You don't have permission to perform this action" when inserting same toolbox component to other assembly file

Ans: Given Checkout rights to the PDMWE Toolbox folder.
