Running Solidworks minimally.

What is everyone's experience with running SW on a "Underpowered" system? I want to get a laptop/2-1 that will be used 90% of the time for other things that don't need the power but would like the "Option" to run SW on it minimally. Certainly not for any serious work.

Most of the specs you can hit relatively inexpensively on a laptop, CPU, SSD, RAM etc but the sticker is the Video card. Moving to a Quadro on a laptop kicks me up into a range I have no desire to be in as far as price.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience running SW on a middle of the road laptop with a middle of the road non certified graphics card.
