Beginning with Assembly & Part Equations

Good Evening Everyone...

So, here is my dilemma... I have an assembly & part I would like to set up some equations for.

Issue, I have done a crazy amount of "equation" searching online. The information is overwhelming. I need to research more or be pointed toward a comprehensive lesson on how to use them effectively. Could someone please advise where to go to begin with equations? Seems there are so many videos and websites

My biggest question is can I achieve the desired result (zipped below)

My desired results:

  1. Would like to be able to change the main plate thickness, width, & length.
  2. When the plate increase in length and/or width the "ribs" adjust accordingly.
  3. Have the ability to also control the rib thickness, width, & length.

NOTE: The "notches" between the distance of the longer lower portions are always equal.

Same for the longer lower sections around the notches. They too are always equal.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

(I hope I posted in the right place)
