Hi Everyone,

I'm designing a quadcopter blade as part of my final year project. I have been experimenting in Solidworks just to try and get the hang of things as I'm a little rusty.

Currently I have the blades basic shape made from several sketches brought together by a lofted surface and a knit. However, I cannot seem to convert this hollow shape into a solid. I have tried 'thicken' which makes a terrible mess and 'create solid' which just doesn't seem to work at all.

Eventually, my final design will be 3D printed so I need to get things accurate before I proceed. Therefore, any help would be much appreciated.
