How to extract CAD documents from SolidWorks?

We are planning to extract CAD documents from SolidWorks, can you please help me with steps how to extract the Assembly, Part and Document (file) information using APIs? Also, help me with what are the prerequisites.

  Hello Artem,
  Many thanks for your response.
  We are looking to extract object specific metadata and files associated with the object.
  How to read an assembly and get its meta data - (ID, Description, versions/revisions, created on/by, changed on/by, etc) as well as the assembly file.
  Retrieve all part details and metadata corresponding to the assembly as well as the part files.
  The associated drawing details for the above mentioned assembly and part details.
  
  The idea is to extract this information and upload it to an ERP system.
