How can I add new line style? In Brazil we use for centerlines a different line type. It is dash point dash. When I tried to create a new layer for my centerline I was able to find a dash point dash line type.
You can change it in drawing template in Document Properties:
See above screen shot.
High light lines (green colour) will be changed to "Phantom" line from current solid line.
You can do what you want on the drawing to any line using Line Format function; Or just modify the drawing property as above one post (Frederick Law ).
As @Frederick Law said, you can add a line style from the Document Properties dialog box.
I started by modifying the Center Line Style:
Pick the New button and a new LSTYLE# will be created.
Change the middle 0.25 to 0; that will make a dot instead of a dash.
Single click the new LSTYLE# name and rename the line style to your preference.
Then, hit the Save button so you don't have to do this again.
You may have to add this to your templates, I haven't chased it that far.
You can change the "3" to make your line segment longer or shorter.
The dash in front of the 0.25 means to leave a space. The 0.25 is the length of that space, it can be larger or smaller if you'd like.
The 0 is the "length" of the new dot. Any number greater than 0 will make a line segment.
Hope this helps,
