I had an assembly with many configurations. I need to copy the assembly and components to new name with only one selected configuration required. Is there any way to do this?
If you are doing a save as on the assembly then after you complete that task, delete the other configurations
Is there any other option to copy without other configurations instead of copied and delete.
With the lack of replies besides my own, my answer would be no. I have never done it any other way.

I'm not aware of any way to do a "Save as" or Pack and Go and have the new file contain only the active configuration. Why are you against deleting the unwanted configurations from the new Assembly? It's pretty simple to go to the Configurations tab, select the first configuration, hold down Shift, select the last one, and hit your Delete key. You'll get a message that says something about some configurations can't be deleted. Click Okay. Then when you get the message confirming that you want to delete click on the "Yes to All" button. That will delete all configurations except the active one.
If you only need to do this to a single assembly and keep one configuration then the suggested way is the fastest. If you need to do this to a lot of assemblies or split out configurations to a separate assembly for each one then I would suggest looking into #TASK by Central Innovations. It is a macro program for SolidWorks and helps with many repetitive tasks.
Thanks for the tips. My case is same, an assembly with many subassemblies.
I do not know macro very well. Can anyone share a macro to do the requested.
You really should check https://centralinnovation.com/solidworks/extensions/task-by-central-innovation/ if you are looking for macro's.
