Hello, as you can see from my image... I am having an issue with a break appearing when there's nothing there.
I have tried to rebuild (Crtl+Q) the drawing. Deleted the dimensions and re-added them. Note: the G1 is an overwritten dimension.
The only time I've seen this is when there's a Hidden Dimension, or one that's been placed on a Layer that's turned off. Could it be either of those?
(1) I tried the hidden dimension but there's nothing there. I even tried hiding a dimension to see if Show/Hide Annotations would show anything. It shows the one I hid manually but there's nothing there.
(2) The second part, I am not too sure. I would need to look into it. Any help you could give me with layers. EDIT: I only have 2 layers and they are both shown.
Then I don't know. Can you post the files here, or is it proprietary? If you can, directions are at How can I attach a file to a forum post?
It is proprietary.... sorry. Thanks for the help though...
Is the box checked for breaking the lines?
Also, I noticed that it appears to start breaking showing that's there's a hidden dimension.
I don't know. Unless you can get your VAR involved the only thing I know of would be to place sketch lines, with the same color and thickness as your extension lines, and make them coincident with the model edges so they're overlapping the extension lines, and place them so they cover the unwanted gap. That of course won't exactly fix the problem, but it will hide it.
Yup, I understand... I am trying to fix it and not hide so in case, in the future, we have a solution.
Here is another thing, I noticed. With other bigger configurations... The invis line shifts up.
The invis line shifted up because the model became bigger... just giving out things, i have noticed.
I should have asked this earlier, but has your computer been running for a while? If yes, you might try re-booting it, and not just shutting down SW and re-starting it, but a complete computer restart. That often fixes weird issues.
Yup, I actually had this issue last Friday, Turn off my computer for the weekend and started it up again today. I will try restarting to see if it changed anything.
Yeah, on top of that, the new "Windows 10 Fast Startup Feature", which is turned on by default, doesn't actually do a shutdown/restart:
Shutting Down Doesn’t Fully Shut Down Windows 10 (But Restarting Does)
Just tried both (Restart & Full Shut Down) and it didn't help. Thanks though
