"Cannot Partition Surface..." error when trying to Save Bodies

I am using SW2014 SP5.

I regularly use the Save Bodies command with sheet metal parts to create a parametric "BLANK" to use for laser / water jet cutting.

Today I have a VERY simple sheet metal part. There are no bend; nothing exotic, tricky, or unusual. It was created "in context" to a master model... just like hundreds of other sheet metal parts I perform the same function on.

However, today I keep getting the error shown below. I can only assume that the Save Bodies command performs some sort of partitioning behind the scenes. But my feature tree certainly has no trimming, surfacing, partitioning, 3dSketching. The master model has a 3Dsketch in it - that does not have an effect on any other sheet metal components.

This particular error message shows up in several forum posts. But I could not find any that associate it with a Save Bodies command.

Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Thanks,

Daen
