how to make solid-works faster
Going to need more information. What are you finding slow about it? What are your computer specs? What version are you using?
That brings up a lot of questions.....
More Horsepower. *haha*
I don't have many suggestions on this because I don't need it to be faster.
But after opening a document, (model, drawing, etc...) You could try this.
Go to the settings cog, click document properties, go to image quality, and turn down the sliders and uncheck the boxes I've circled. Your models will look of the lower quality, but it should run a little quicker.
Let me know if this helps.
Kyle Litwin - I was gonna mention..... Add a "Turbo" and Airfoils
That would be the way to go! haha (Or "buy a new car")
Don't forget the go faster stripes and speed holes!
Decal, lots of decals.
From other post in this forum: go back to 2015.
Speed is relative.
The slower you're, the faster SW became.
If you take your laptop with Solidworks running on it and put it in a car. Then drive down the highway.....the harder you push the gas pedal.....the faster Solidworks will go.
OK, that was a joke.
