Hex Model created in top plane is skewed in relation to the side plane.
Constrain the hex properly.
You did not constrain the hex and it is free rotating.
There are a few ways to do it. First and maybe best is to go back to your first sketch and rotate the sketch so that the plane you desire as a front is to the top, That will make it to the top plane will show the flat surface of the part.
But if you want the flat surface to be on the front plane you will need to change the sketch plane. To do that Right click on the sketch icon in the tree and select the sketch plane icon in the drop down menu. Now select the top plane to sketch on and make the surface you want to show as the face parallel to the top plane.
Another, maybe faster method is to set the face you want as front to be facing you parallel to the screen and press your space bar and from the view orientation icon select the frond view to reset the views.
You should also note that if your sketch, or any part of it is blue like in my first picture, it is not fully constrained which is a very bad thing and you need to add dimensions or relations until it turns black (fully constrained)
use the space bar.
