I am trying to model this attached part, but it has a feature that I'm not experienced enough to pull off. Can someone help me out? Thanks! Feature is circled in red on the PDF file of the drawing.
I mostly agree with the above two posters except I think it's a feature designed to be made by a ball nose mill, so it's only spherical in one portion of it.
You can do it in one sweep
At first glance this appears to be a spherical cut. If it is then you can do a revolved cut with a profile similar to a ball end mill.
I agree with Dennis. Should be a revolved cut of a semi-circle with their centers located at the locations marked in the bottom right drawing view.
Guys if I'm looking at it right, I don't see where they give a height where you'd stick the plane to place the arc or circle to make that cut...Maybe I missed something.
