Solidworks rebuilding after every click of the mouse it seems. I am working in Large assembly mode with Suspend rebuild checked, but its still rebuilding? What does suspend rebuild actually mean then? Ctrl+q when i want to rebuild is what im trying to achieve. Im using 2019.
It rebuilds the same part a number of times whenever I make a change, why?
Any ideas? Massive time waster waiting for solidworks to rebuild all the time.
It's not exactly answering your question. But it may help.
Most of my job is working with Sheet Metal assemblies with 400+ components.
Most of parts contains punching and each punching may have several thousands holes.
After I finish working on each component, I drag the freezbar to the bottom of the feature tree.
It prevents the component being rebuilt even if you press crtl+Q.
The only draw back is that if I need to edit some features, I have to first drag freezbar to a step before the feature to be able edit it.
