Touch Technology & Markups?

Hello Everyone,

I am currently evaluating new computer hardware for a company with a lot of users. One of the major additions to SolidWorks in recent years is native Markups and we want to implement them. The laptop option that we are evaluating has a touch screen but no active pen. We have found that the quality of this touch technology is not as effective as we want for using markups in SW. The only options that work are a large tip squishy tip pen for touch screens or a finger. The finger works well but low accuracy and feels awkward. Using the squishy tip pen has a fair amount of friction and feels like we are using a crayon to do markups. Has anyone found a high performance laptop with touch performance that works well in SW? I believe an active pen would solve the issue but I have not been able to find one that has the high CPU speeds we need. Much appreciated if anyone can share their research.
