Been trying to open a Solidworks drawing for a while, actually left it sit over night Others here can open it but I just get the "Solidworks is busy running the Open command". The CPU % also stays at 0? Another strange thing is the file size is 3X the size as a similar drawing?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Todd
Have you tried opening via Quickview or Lightweight mode? I would also try opening the models fully resolved that are in the drawing first then try opening the drawing.
Another trick is to rename the path of the models in the drawing forcing it to "fail to open" and resulting in empty views. Then you can rename the path back and show one view at a time to see if possibly a view is corrupted and not the entire drawing.
If the file size is that much larger it could very well be corrupted and would need to be sent to your VAR for review and possibly passed along to SOLIDWORKS.
