Doubt that this has anything to do with it, but I just upgraded from 2019 to SW2020. When I double click a SW file in windows explorer, it automatically prints the file and opens it in SW.
How do I stop it from printing??

We had 2 users at our company experience the issue. Both did not uninstall 2017 before installing 2020. Both users uninstalled all versions of Solidworks on their machines then reinstalled 2020 and the issue went away.
hmmm. Probably makes sense why I experience it and my co-worker is not. I did the option to update 2019 to 2020 but I keep finding specific SW2019 folders in my computer. Where as my co-worker uninstalled everything (he had other issues) before installing 2020. Maybe I should bite the bullet and uninstall everything... Then reinstall 2020.
FRED ZOBEL HAS BEST SOLUTION
To fix issue do the following....
1) Right-click image in Explorer --> Open With --> Choose Another App
(Notice "PRINT" appears in BOLD..)
2) Look for SOLIDWORKS LAUNCHER. Don't forget to enable ALWAYS USE THIS APP TO OPEN.....
Click OK
3) "PRINT" no longer appears in BOLD. You'll need to do this same procedure for Assemblies, Parts, and Drawings.
I have been experiencing the same issue...
Every time I double clicked on a Solidworks file in Windows Explorer it would open in Solidworks fine but then immediately try to print it!
Just to add to Richard & Fred's helpful comments which pointed me in the right direction... I did not however see 'SOLIDWORKS Launcher' in my Right-click > Open With > Choose Another App options.
In Googling where I could find this I found this article which may be helpful for anyone else who is in a similar situations.
Restore File Associations in SOLIDWORKS
In order to get the Solidworks Launcher to show as an option you need to in Solidworks go to Options > General tab > and find the 'Restore File Associations' button (which appears to be located in the General tab now rather than 'File Explorer' as in the article above).
I was promoted to restart Solidworks as Administrator before I could use this button and also had to turn the open as administrator setting off again once all done but then hey presto... no more annoying trying to print every time I double click in Windows Explorer!!
Hope this helps anyone else who may be looking at this.
