I am relatively new to Solidworks, and I am trying to generate a cockpit fuselage. I have created a guide curve and contour lines, but the loft feature is not following the guide curve and I don't know why. You can see below:

try to do it in smaller sections instead of all at once. also the fuselage is symmetrical over Plane13 so you only need to model half of it and then mirror.
Don't the contours have to be closed in order to do the loft?
you can close them at the centerline so the have a "D" shape or use surfacing and leave them open.
I'm on 2018 so I can't see what you've done. Have you actually chosen any guide curves, because it doesn't look like it in the screenshot???
Yes, there's a middle guide curve sweeping the whole side
Split up the guide curves into and upper guide line sketch and lower guide line sketch.
Do the middle part first, and continue to the frotn and back.
