Cutting a spiral into a surface that is "formed" (help)

So I had a question a while back on how I would cut a spiral design into a surface with given dimensions. All the input received made it much easier to understand / accomplish.

Now I am tasked with doing the same thing but along a "formed" surface. Images and Part file are attached.

Basically, the spiral in the 2nd picture needs to be cut into the surface referring to the dimensions highlighted in picture 1, and follow the "formed lip" of the part.

If this is possible, I'd love some guidance on how to achieve it and appreciate any input on this.

I still consider myself to be a beginner at Solidworks.

Thanks in advance!

Spiral Before Being "formed"From a current basic model that I am testing the work on, the spiral cut needs to imitate dimensions I have in the 1st picture, but along the "formed" surface.
