I'm trying to add parallel relations to the two entities circled in red. Not sure how to make it happen.

When editing the sketch, select the two lines and pick parallel
Here's a screenshot of the sketch with both lines selected. No relations are available anywhere that I can find
Anybody know why or how to fix this issue ?

Click the sketch on the left pane and click "Edit sketch".
Here I just "Click the sketch on the left pane and then clicked "Edit sketch".
Still no relations come up. 
I figured it out.
First I had to bring up a parallel plane, then Crtl - Double click one line at a time to bring up the relations. I also had to select the line itself, not the end point. I also found that sometimes I can be over the top of the lines and box select both lines, then relations will appear. But box select from an angle or from the side the relations show up intermittently. Very strange.
