Hello, I've done everithing I can but I cant get Solidworks RX to recognice my system. I have the latest firmware, the certified driver from Nvidia, the correct OS.
Please see image on attachment
This was an issue in SW2018. Thought it was fixed in SW2019. Unfortunately I do not have SW2019 or SW2020 to check this.
According to the Hardware database, your configuration is listed. I bet it's because of the name coming up on your card model.
There is an open SPR right now about the Nvidia Drivers and Solidworks Rx.
SRP#1125504 The information of NVIDIA is not correctly shown in SOLIDWORKS Rx Diagnostics.
Currently there is not an Target fix date, but this does mean that the SW development team is aware of the issue.
Thanks Matthew, is there a workarround? is the performance of SW affected by not being able to identify the system as certified?
Alex, as long as you are on the recommend driver version for you system, you should not be seeing an performance issues. Do you feel like you are having an performance troubles?
Using the Solidworks Website: SOLIDWORKS Hardware Certification | Hardware & System Requirements | SOLIDWORKS
I can see that for your system you should using the should be the R430 branch, which you are using. So this is just simply that the SW Rx tool is not working correctly right now.
I am experiencing some slower performance with realview graphics and ambient occlusion, but when I run Rx benchmark the results are within normal range. Also some glitches on entity selection where I cant pick a sketch end point but I am unsure if the selection process goes through the GPU.
Hopefully you do not absolutely believe that running the recommended driver does not affect performance. I have had two computers where I could not get rid of the video glitches unless I ran the latest driver. Maybe this was a SolidWorks issue or maybe (more likely) a Windows issue (an update) but it still was a performance issue with SolidWorks.

While a broken SW RX annoys me also, I won’t vote for the SPR because there is other more important functionality that SW broke and needs to fix first. When SW breaks something that’s not broke, they should promptly fix it without requiring us to beg for recourse.
BTW, I think it’s been 2+ years since my VAR told me SW was already aware of this issue.
