The flex command is destroying the geometry, but shouldn't. There are domes on the halfpipe geometry.
a) unfortunately not.. you could add a patch or fillet to smooth it?
b) yes, it would not be reality but the sweep and pattern would be analytical (sweep/pattern file attached)

Hello Hakan,.. ok, thanks.. this fails for me and it's most likely because you have VOR Off (look up verification on rebuild) .. and, beyond that, Flex does have limitations..so, the rotation Limit is ~1400 degs... so, as a workaround,.. if you halve the length to 430mm and halve the rotation 1260 degs... and copy/move and rotate the this 430mm and 180degs.. and combine.. it should work... well, ok? Coul I have your file please? And one important question: Can we eliminate that line where combining taking place? Because, I will use that geometry in a meshing tool and the program will recognise that line but shouldn't.

The alternative maybe,.. do a helical sweep and pattern the domes?
a) I mean, is there any "after command" that "sews" that line and making it invisible?
b) Twisting is better due to the reality. In reality, we have that geometry and will twist it with a twisting machine. But I wonder if we can first sweep and secondly pattern?
