I am a novice and I am working on an assignment. I can solve my own assignments but I am stuck on a detail that I have some problems with.
I am curious what kind of bend this is, if it is something that was created as a sketch fillet, a regulat fillet or a chamfer?
Fillet, not Chamfer.
It is usually better to use Feature Fillet rather than Sketch Fillet, although I might use a Sketch Fillet for the larger fillet.
Can you Attach your *.sldprt file here? (This is a binary yes/no question.)
(Do not take this as a cut) If you can solve your assignment, how come you did not google it?
Fillet (mechanics) - Wikipedia
YES,IT IS A FILLET,NOT A CHAMFER.YOU COULD TRY THESE TWO FEATURE TO SEE WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE.AND SKETCH FILLET COULD NOT BULID THIS FEATURE IN THIS PICTURE IF THIS FEATURE IS BUILT BY BASE EXTRUDE.
That bend has a fillet, yes, but can that smooth bend be done with a fillet sketch tool/method or is some other tool necessary to get that sharp corner to become smooth 90 degrees?
