Can anyone tell me?

Hi Glenn, could you share the reason for such time consuming decision?
There were two issues. One new one (see hidden lines in drawings), and the other was a regression to frequent crashing when re-naming display states in Assemblies. I'd had problems with that going back several versions. It was fixed with SW2019 sp 0, and then came back with sp 4.
Resources monitor is a total BS.
It keep complain low memory but never point out which memory is low.
There is the GDI and User Object issue.
Also temp folder and swap file size.
Change them and it won't complain again.
GDI Registry fix, this set limit to 30000:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]
"GDIProcessHandleQuota"=dword:00007530[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]
"GDIProcessHandleQuota"=dword:00007530
Clean out Temp folders once a week.
You can use resource monitor to do that.
Swap file:
Set Windows Pagefile Max and min to 3 times memory.
Or 64GB. Set it bigger if you want.

it's not always as easy as it seams.
plus pretty sure inventor has it's own problems/errors/etc as well.
PS-> why do ppl always refero to switch to inventor? what about solidedge?
That surely wouldn't give Frederick Law "The Edge" in Design

I've never used Inventor or Solidedge.
I was just joking with Frederick Law. He has on many occasions cited his preference for Inventor.
Soon. Probably in a month.
