Inserted parts no longer positioned at origin

When I use to insert a part into an assembly it would automatically position it so that the origins were coincident. Now it seems to position it at the center of mass.

Is there an option to change it back to aligning the origins?

Are you talking about the first part inserted into an assy, or all parts?
How are you inserting the part? (drag and drop, click on the origin, clicking the green tick, hitting enter, ???)
Do you have the View > Status Bar enabled or disabled?

I had noticed this too. I figured it was an improvement that SW instituted.

If there is an option, I'll be glad to use it as well....

  I may be mistaken, but I thought only the first inserted part could be snapped to origin, and others thereafter would not be constrained...

Matt ... If subsequent parts are dropped away from the origin, they will float. If you click the tick or select the origin the parts will be fixed.
