I am running Solidworks 2018 version and I want to do an extruded cut on text. The letters are not bleeding into eachother and there is not overlap. There is spacing between the letters. I got an error message when I tried to do an extruded cut (see enclosed screen shot) automatically. That is fine, so I dissolved the text and manually cut letter by letter up to when I came to the letters "r" and "k". It worked for all the other letters but not for those. I trawled the internet for any postings but could not find anything that was directly relevant. Some of you probably know about this "feature" and therefore I am asking you about it.

I am only interested in workarounds or solutions on this. Nothing else. If the posting is placed in wrong section please move it. I am a novice.
