The stress peak seen at the edge of the boundary condition is completely correct for this set up. If there was a perfectly rigid and sharp edged restraint holding the table there would be practically unlimited stress at the edge.
If more useful information is needed at this location, the artificial boundary condition must be moved at least one body away from the area of interest. Here I made a solid support block, restrained the block, and put it in no-penetration contact with the table.
The new stress result is free of the sharp fringe. The exact local contact pressure is affected by the local mesh, but from here one can tinker with that to get the desired result.
