I am looking for a way to lock the sheet format as we have users manually overwriting the properties within our title block and watermark. This is causing data mismatch issues when the files transition to different states in PDM.

I am assuming this could be done through a macro; however I've not yet written any macros for Solidworks.

What would a macro look like for this?

User goes to edit sheet format mode.

Ask for password.

If password does not match then exit edit sheet format mode.

Also can macros be pushed out to each client through the admin image installer (settings administrator) or something similar? Or are the macros embedded into the cad files? I'm hoping they are part of the solidworks install, and not the files themselves.
