3D Point from different co-ordinate system

Is it possible to create a 3d point whose x,y and z value can be specified in terms of a different coordinate system ( other than default) ???

Not directly. But you can create one excel/ text file with the coordinates you need. Then using Insert > Curve > Curve through XYZ Points, you can call in those points.
