I have been tasked with ordering a new design workstation for a client. I have been given a budget which allows for the purchase of the following system:
HP Z1 G5 TWR I9-9900K 32GB, 512GB M.2 SSD+2TB HDD, RTX2060-6GB
This graphics card however, the RTX2060 does not appear to be certified by Solidworks.
So therefore, I would likely be looking more towards something with a P1000 4G card, which seems to be inferior to the RTX2060, at least from a performance standpoint.
So that leaves me with something like the:
HP Z4 G4 XEON W-2133 32GB, 512GB Z TURBO, P1000 4GB
I suppose my question is, why is the P1000 better for solidworks than the RTX2060?
