A coworker had this appear a couple days ago. He had no idea how it got activated. I don't have it and I can't figure out how to turn it on let alone how to turn it off.
Does anyone know anything about this?
I believe that this is the touch interface for the dimension editor.
2019 SOLIDWORKS Help - Custom Numeric Keypad
Interesting. And it functions correctly on my machine. I can't even enable it because I don't have a touch screen:
Andy Sanders does your coworker have a touch screen?
I don't think so, but I'll ask. At least he's gotten rid of it.
I don't have a touch screen either, but for some reason I can enable touch mode.
And the interface appears for me, but ONLY when I click inside the number box in the dimension editor. (edit: when I have Touch mode turned on)
Hey guys. We updated the logic to prevent this from getting turned on on a device that doesn't support touch. I believe we did it in a service pack, so that may account for the discrepancy of who can see the setting in the View menu and who cannot.
My coworker was on 2018 SP4. I'm on 2018 SP5
I am on 2018 SP5 and I can turn it on for some reason. No touch screen here.
I'm on 2019 SP3 and I can't enable it on my non-touchscreen monitor. So, as Kevin Berni posted, it must've been fixed between 2018 SP5 and 2019 SP3.
Thanks! Turning touch mode off fixed it for him.
The weird thing was when I turned it on, I didn't get the number pad.
