Whenever I try to open SOLIDWORKS I get an error message saying
"Could not obtain license for SOLIDWORKS Standard.
No such feature exists
(-5, 147, 0)"
What should I do to fix this?
Is this a network license?
You may receive this error message if you are retrieving your license from a network in which all the licenses are currently being used already.
If you look in your Windows program list under the 'SolidWorks Tools' folder, you should be able to open the SolidNetwork License Manager Client. In the 'License Usage' tab you can then see which server(s) you are obtaining licenses from, how many licenses are available on those servers, and who is currently using those licenses.
I'm getting a similar error, but mine happens after I check out a license and I'm working remotely and not connected to my companies network. Could not obtain license for SOLIDWORKS Standard. Server node is down or not responding (-96,7,11001). I have worked off network before (laptop), and never got this error with previous versions of SW 2019 SP3
