Setting up radiation heat transfer problem

Question asked by Pratik Bagde on Sep 16, 2019

I have 3D assembly which I have to study transient heat transfer between two bodies in an assembly in solidworks flow simulation. All three modes ( conduction, convection and radiation ) heat transfer are to be considered. For conduction, I have taken heat sources and specified temperature. For convection, I have specified fluid flow inside model with its parameters ( outlet flow rate and inlet as environmental pressure). But I have doubt in setting radiation mode, in radiative surfaces tool I have specified one surface of first body (which is at higher temperature) as black wall and one surface of second body as absorbent wall ( Note: These two surfaces are facing each other) for maximum possible heat transfer. So do I need to specify radiative source as well as radiative surfaces both or either of them? to consider radiation condition
