I noticed in windows 7 that windows doesn't shut down if windows explorer with EPDM is open. It will say application has hanged.
So I hoped this is not an issue in windows 10 and now that I've got windows 10 it's the same problem. Except now windows 10 goes to blue screen where it says "shutting down" but never shuts down.
Is this known issue?
Is your PDM system configured to clear the local cache on log out?
I don't know. All I know if I close all explorer windows where EPDM was open it will shut down normally.
If in Log-s and RX there is no information - try other user of Windows, on other computer and other user of PDM.
I am sure that after that reason search span to decrease considerably.
Most likely a problem in the Windows settings or in Antivirus exceptions.
Configure ports, turn off Indexation of disks, DEP...
There is still SNL, updates of Windows, the *.exe setup of files - start with the rights of the administrator and many other things.
