Right now I'm doing a lot of mesh convergence studies with my setup but I'm wondering what should I be doing with the max step size? I have a max step size of 0.1 s being used currently only because I was interested in having more data points on some of my output time plots. I no longer need that resolution on my plots so I'm wondering how some of you experienced people handle the max step size. As long as the solver doesn't have to reset with a smaller time step is there anything I need to worry about? I'm interested in this as I plan on running a large amount of design studies so shaving off time steps would be ideal.
