I want to write the first 10 digits of the part name to the part number part. I want to write the rest to the description section. I want to split the name of the part in two, to write in different places. Can I make custom properties?
Note: I can already make part name.
also you can customize your sheet format and save it and to use it each time... but i dont now if if the number or codings do change or not. but i personally made a customized sheet format with some constant parts data and each time i use it and the complete the changing sections which should be filled secretively for each drawing.

I think i need a macro for this. I have already customized the drawing page but I dont know how to accomplish this problem.

unfortunately i don't know the macros but i'm sure this problem can be solved by macros. actually i guess so...
you want to do it automatically and not manually and that's what the macros are for.
