We are creating booths for trade shows. The vendor providing the framework for these booths is beMatrix (www.bematrix.com). All of their files are available for download. Unfortunately, there are no SW file formats available.
I would like to know how to take these components and be able to quickly create patterns/arrays of them. There are frames and various brackets that hold these frames together.
I am CSWP certified, but I feel like assemblies of this nature are a huge weak point in my knowledge. A co-worker has created a way to drag and drop these parts in AutoCAD in a matter of seconds. There has to be a way to do this with Solidworks. I've used SW for 10 years, but primarily in a part-based envrionment. I'm wondering if I need to learn macros/code, or if there are easier options in the assembly environment of SW.
I didn't dig through the website to find the models. Maybe if you could post some here someone would be happy to take a look. See How can I attach a file to a forum post?
