How do you model a bent tube in order to get a flat pattern of the tube. I am creating a roll cage and want the flat pattern and bend lines to show up in the drawing for easy fabrication. The tube is rounded.

Ok, so what is the correct way to model round tube in a roll cage so I can get how much tube I need to purchase, and easily show on drawings where the center of the bend should be?
Maybe a weldment?

Steve Labonte This is exactly what I was looking for. I just do not understand how you kept the Flatten-<BaseBend#> in the Flat Pattern after you Fillet the entire bar. My Flatten-<BaseBend#> goes away in my Flat Pattern when I use the Fillet feature on the bar. This causes me to have no Flat Pattern.
