Why does my Design Table erase my newly-added configurations?

I'm working on an assembly. Whenever I add new configurations to it in Excel, it erases some or all of them. I usually lose all but the first new entry, sometimes all of them, and sometimes it leaves two or three. Occasionally it accepts them all. Does anyone have a guess as to why this might be happening?

At first I thought it was because there were errors in what I was adding, but there are not usually errors in my data (as far as I can tell). Is there a limit to the number of configurations you can add at one time?

My table controls which configurations of six different components, are used in the assembly. I'm 30 lines in, and I'd hate to have to add the remaining 200 lines one-by-one.
