I've repeatedly seen a minor issue where Solidworks is effectively not "letting go" of files/folders after I've closed them in Solidworks. For example, I've just closed an assembly I'd only created to experiment for troubleshooting an issue, and I just went to delete the folder it's contained in via Windows Explorer, but an error message pops up no matter how many times I try saying that the folder is in use. This is on my local C: drive, I've got nothing open in Solidworks right now and there's no chance any other program is accessing it.
I can only seem to delete the folder by closing Solidworks, after which the folder will be freed up.
Is there a setting or something that can help this?
