I'm working on a bunch of animations at the moment and noticed that I can no longer get parts or assemblies to fade in or out gradually in a motion study. I've done this a thousand times in the past, but it just doesn't work anymore. For example, if a part is suppose to fade out gradually over 2 seconds, it will instead be a solid color and then instantly disappear at the 2 second mark. Currently running Solidworks 2019, SP 3.0 on a two month old machine, fresh registry reset to clear any bad settings, using approved hardware and drivers. Also tested on my old work PC, running Solidworks 2019, not working there either. As far as I know this started with the switch to Solidworks 2019 because I didn't have this problem in the past.

Interesting side note, when I open old assemblies with motion studies (created in some version of Solidworks between 2015 and 2018), the existing fades still calculate gradually, but if I try to add a new fade, it has the same problem as above.

Here is a video I made showing the problem:

Solidworks 2019 (Motion Study) Animation Issues - YouTube

The files for that test assembly are attached as a ZIP file if anyone wants to try it themselves.

I'm also having problems creating rendered animations using photoview 360, the camera just quits working a few seconds in, but I'll save that issue for later.

Thanks for your help
