Starting SW 2009 on Laptop (sp2.0)

I have sw 2009 w/ sp2.0 installed on my HP Laptop. I have to dbl click the desktop icon many many times before sw will finally start.

I know the Vid card is not on the approved list, but once sw starts, it works fine on this system, my problem is getting it to start first time. Any ideas would be great.
