How to implement BMS Wiring diagram in SolidWorks Electrical effectively? I am using Orion BMS 2, with 26 inputs/outputs and cell tap wires (about 108).
Lots of ways to do systems like battery management - Solidworks Electrical cares about wire and cable connections at it's core, so I'd suggest first deciding what level of documentation you want out of SWE. If you're just interested in a schematic and a BOM, a single-line diagram would work fine, and look very similar to what you have now.
If you wanted an actual wire list, or to route the system in Solidworks Electrical 3D, we'd need to define wires and cables, and then go a little deeper into actually assigning circuits/terminals to some manufacturer parts, and then decide whether you like single-line or multiline, or a combination of both, to populate that wiring and cabling connection data.Battery management is a great example of a system that's complicated enough to need good documentation but not complicated enough (like an entire aircraft, etc) to put you off from getting started - I'd recommend getting in touch with your reseller to get you started!
