DRC: 'Net has no driving source' because of resistor in between

Question asked by Roger Rollins on Aug 7, 2019

Hi all,

How could I avoid these "false" warnings for cases where between an Output pin and and Input pin is some passive component, like a fuse or a resistor? I know there are some solutions like "specific NO ERC" but that's a bunch of work searching and marking each situation where there is indeed a indirect driving source, but with some 10 ohms resistor in front of. If I completely deactivate the DRC rule "Nets with no driving source", I  would miss other situations where there is indeed no driving source around.... Any ideas how I could optimize this?
