Descriptive Workflow Condition Warnings

Hi all.

We are running Solidworks 2019 & PDM 2019. When I am on the admin account and try to transition a file that does not meet all the conditions, I get the warning that says "Revision should be B" or "4 conditions not met" that I can click on and see what I need to fix.

On my own personal account, or any other user, it just comes up with the generic "Conditions for transition were not met." warning message. I can log out of my account, into admin, and try the same file and get the descriptive version. I'm assuming there is some setting I'm missing that I need to turn on for all my users, but I just can't find it anywhere.

Any advice on how to get this descriptive message for everyone?

We have the same issue, SW 2019 SP3.

Hi,
If PDM-Pro - in Admin Tools click Users - there are settings for everyone at once.
But there are also Group settings. You need to see it, too.

But first check the Warnings settings.

Hi Kyle, I'm afraid you are running into a known SPR in 2019 (SP1-3). If you have the explicit permissions to perform a transition set on User level (like the Admin, which should not be a member of any group), it will show the details, setting the permissions on Group level won't show the details, just like you described.

This is registered in SPR 1122936 and is solved in 2019 SP4.
