how do I print or copy the feature manager to use in another part?
Paul Peterson , Welcome to the forums.
I don't really understand what you're going for here.
Print the Feature Manager?
If you want to copy the Feature Manager wouldn't you just use "Save As"?
There are a lot of folks who frequent the forums who like to help. If you can give us more details on what you're trying to achieve we could possibly be of some help to you.
By using one of the "Save-As" options?
Are you planning to use this as a base/starting point for other projects and just want the Feature Tree structure or do you want the entire base part throughout?
If it's the latter I'd also recommend looking into "DriveWorks" ...
If you'd explain what you're trying to achieve by that we could probably be more help. Inserting the one Part into another Part might be one option that would work for you.
Sorry I was not very clear...
I have a very hard ( for me) part in front of me.
I would simply like to print the feature manager so I can see the steps I went thru to create it, when creating the new part.

Well, you can run a save as (if it is part of an assembly, then select "save as copy and open". Then you can use that same part and make your new part right from it.
Alternatively, you can open a new part and select Insert-->Part...
Then select your part file you want to insert. And make sure that you check "Break Link to Original Part"
This will insert a folder into your part with all the steps from your original part (not linked to it).
Then you can create your new part along side the original and then delete the original steps.
When I want to reference a tree like that, I usually do a screenshot and look at it on my other monitor.
Or you could take a screenshot and just print it
You can run another SW session on second screen and replay the reference part there with Part Reviewer function.
