First post here but have spent countless hours reading posts here.
I am trying to make a thermoforming mold for a cover and spent most of the day trying different things from youtube videos.
the parting lines caused craze geometry that I don't want. Anyone here have mold experience and can help?

Thanks for the response. This will be a vacuum formed part.
I am trying to make a mold that we can CNC for this part and that's where I am stumped.
..yeah,.. it's a "parting face" or the extended perimeter faces which will be sealed and trimmed back..so you may need to clean up the areas which are not extending or create something (loft/boundary) close to tangent? (image)

Usually there are no parting lines in a thermoformed part. What you have in the picture looks doable.
This is pressure form or vacuum form?
I try to always create an untrimmed model first, then make trim cuts at the end. This helps you to see what's going on.
