The power of the API and macrofeatures

Here is a quick video of what I've developed over the last 6-7 years.

Solidworks API - Macro Features, Full Design suite, Drawing Automation - YouTube

I have no audio as I don't want to give everything away.

These features are completely defined by our tooling library. The system automatically adjusts dimensions for tools we own. Geometry matches tools 100%

Inspection drawings are automated and driven by the tool, feature, and operations databases that drive these features.

Hole callouts are automatically filled out and locked.

Components are found and sized based on the feature in the assembly

Machining analysis

Wall thickness analysis for actual hydraulic flow paths.

ZERO TIME REBUILD    this is one great thing you can do with macrofeatures if written a specific way.

Quoting based on generated NC code (99.6% accurate currently with over 6000 hours of true machining time fed back through the system)

Drawing automation for deburing drawings, assembly drawings, machining prints.

All utilities use parallelism which is great and everyone should use it when you can. Quoting went from 30 minutes to 3.

Enjoy. Because I haven't
